According to the website Habitat, Pitt is currently in India with former American president Jimmy Carter and his wife to construct a house for the humanitarian project.
The Babel star arrived in Lonavla yesterday. Pitt joined Carter and other volunteers. The group is building a new home for Aziz and Sadhiya Sheikh. Pitt, 42, was seen working with cement blocks on the home’s foundation. In other photographs, the actor was adjusting windows.
Angelina Jolie, the actor’s girlfriend, is in India working on the film A Mighty Heart. She has also spend several hours under the hot sun talking to volunteers.
In September 2006, Pitt and Jolie gave a total of $2 million US to the Global Action for Children and Doctors Without Borders organisations.
