According to Contactmusic, Williams refused to reunite with his old group last April. The Feel singer thought that his fans are still mad since his departure from the band in 1995.
Gary Barlow, the leader of Take That, was also happy that Williams chose not to join the tour. Barlow feels that Williams is now too big of a star to work with other artists. Barlow explained, "I never expected him to come on stage. I wondered myself if it would’ve been right. When you’re in a band it’s not about any individual, it’s about Take That."
