According to the British paper, The Sun, Madonna decided to adopt little David Banda after two visits to the orphanage Home for Hope, with her husband Guy Richie. The star was charmed by this baby that she played with for over one hour during her first visit.
The mother of this boy died after complications that happened during labor. Yohane Banda, father of the boy explained, "I’m very happy. As you can see there is poverty in my village." The 32-year-old farmer did not personally have the chance to meet the star of the album Hung Up.
Banda further expressed, "I know he will be very happy in America. We are told Davie will be coming back regularly to get to know his roots."
Many legalities need to be ironed out before Madonna can bring the baby home with her.
