According to Britain’s ITV, Hasselhoff’s representative Judy Katz confirmed the news that Hayley Hasselhoff had been injured. Los Angeles police, however, report that they were called on Saturday with an apparent suicide attempt.
Norma Eisenman, a police spokesperson, explained, "That’s the way the radio came out."
Hasselhoff, who starred in television’s Baywatch, claims that he called 911 because he had been told that Hayley had been cut by the cat on her arm.
The 54 year-old actor insists that his daughter did not try to take her life, and says that there was simply a miscommunication.
Hayley Hasselhoff and her sister were at their mother’s home. Pamela Bach and David Hasselhoff are divorced, and share custody of the two girls.
