According to Variety, Jolie recently agreed to the project. The story was inspired by the novel of the same name by Ayn Rand. Lionsgate Studios will produce the film.
Jolie, 31, is a big fan of the writer. She had revealed in the past that she would love to play the female lead in the film. The story follows the hypothetical fall of the American economy in the future.
The full-length film will also be produced by Howard and Karen Baldwin (Ray).
