During an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Simpson revealed that she hasn’t dated much since her divorce from singer Nick Lachey. The In This Skin singer gave a possible reason for the fact that she’s rarely asked out on a date. Simpson said, "I think I’m too hard to be in love with. It ends up on the cover of every magazine. I scare people away. I’m a lot to take on."
Simpson, who starred in the film The Dukes of Hazzard, recently dated singer John Mayer, although the media circus put a chill on the romance. Nonetheless, the two stars are still on speaking terms.
Simpson also told DeGeneres that she had no regrets about her marriage to Lachey, adding that he is an amazing man.
Jessica Simpson hopes to soon be in love again. She added, "I wish I was in love. I need to be in love. I’m a good person – I promise!"
