Fergie Admits Former Drug Use

Fergie, the singer of The Black Eyed Peas, is happy to report that she won her battle against drugs.

According to the American magazine Time, Fergie, who is the only woman in her band, recently admitted to having been addicted to crystal meth in the past.

The singer spoke openly about her past, saying of her drug use, "It was the hardest boyfriend I ever had to break up with."

"I dug deep as to why I got there. It’s the drug that’s addicting. But it’s why you start doing it in the first place that’s interesting. A lot of it was being a child actor; I learned to suppress feelings.", added Fergie.

Fergie, 31, whose real name is Stacy Ann Ferguson, will release a solo album, The Dutchess, on September 19.
