According to Ananova, Wilson has hired attorney Martin Singer to sue anyone who insinuates that the actor was behind Hudson’s split from her husband.
Kate Hudson, 27, recently announced that she and husband, The Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, have decided to end their marriage. Almost immediately, rumours began circulating around Hollywood that the actress was involved with her You, Me and Dupree co-star, Owen Wilson.
Representatives for both stars have not confirmed if the two are dating. A spokesperson for Wilson, 38, said, "(Anything) that suggests that the separation of Ms. Hudson was caused by Mr Wilson… is absolutely false."
Wilson and Hudson also starred with Matt Dillon in the comedy.
