Cirque du Soleil Takes Elvis

After adapting the music of The Beatles into a live show, Cirque du Soleil has now announced that they will be doing the same with the music of Elvis.

Just one month after launching their musical hommage to the Beatles, Cirque du Soleil plans to create a Las Vegas tribute show to the King.

The permanent show will be located at the MGM Mirage, and plans to open doors in November, 2009. Elvis Presley himself performed 837 times in Las Vegas from 1969-1976.
