According to Femalefirst, Madonna turned 48 on the evening of her performance in London. The star’s back-up singers stopped the show and asked the audience to join them in the song. More than 12,000 people sang "Happy Birthday" to their idol.
Madonna told the crowd, "I cannot think of a better way to spend my birthday than with you tonight."
After the show, the singer continued the celebration with her husband, director Guy Ritchie.
