The film, which was previously to be called Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer, will now officially be titled Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. The sequel, being directed by Tim Story, will be in theatres on June 15, 2007.
In the film, the enigmatic, intergalactic herald, The Silver Surfer, comes to earth to prepare it for destruction. As the Silver Surfer races around the globe wreaking havoc, Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben must unravel the mystery of the Silver Surfer and confront the return of their mortal enemy, Dr. Doom.
Michael Chiklis, Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans, Jessica Alba and Julian McMahon are returning for the sequel.
