The Toxic singer, who is expected to give birth to her second child next month, has been in the recording studio working on a CD that she plans to release in 2007.
The 24 year-old mother has been working at Conway Studios in Los Angeles, with son, Sean Preston, in tow. Husband Kevin Federline was not with the family.
Britney’s last album was released in 2005, and was a remix disc of her biggest hits, entitled B in the Mix: Remixes. More than one million copies were sold.
