Guy Cloutier Is Free

Former entertainment impresario Guy Cloutier was granted full parole at noon.

This morning, in Laval, Guy Cloutier, in hopes of regaining his freedom, was heard by the National Parole Board (NPB).

Before the Board’s judges, the man who sexually abused singer Nathalie Simard said that money could not heal all the wounds he inflicted to his victims.

The man, who spent 19 months in jail, also admitted he was an abuser.

Cloutier also added during his testimony, which lasted about 40 minutes, that he is not physically attracted to children.

The former business man says that he has support from his wife and that he would never again in his professional life be an entertainment impresario. At the most, he might become a consultant for some companies.

The man wiped away tears as he heard the Board’s decision. The Board admits that Cloutier only represents a small risk for society. We do not know the exact date of his release.
