In the next few days, Johnny Depp will move from his France home to an island in the Bahamas he bought in 2004. He will move with all his family: his wife, Vanessa Paradis, his 4-year old son Jack and his 7-year old daughter Lily-Rose Melody.
His family is the main reason behind this move. Depp explains that this would be an ideal place to raise his children while leading a somewhat normal life.
"It’s so beautiful there, so peaceful, free and relaxed", explains Johnny.
"We want to spend a lot more time there in the future because it’s a completely different way of life. It’ll be our home base, but we’ll still spend time in France and in the Sates, so our children will grow up in both cultures."
With this decision, Johnny Depp ironically strengthens his eternal pirate image, especially after the monster success of his movie The Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, whose first weekend in theaters earned it 136 million dollars at the box office.
