Mr. T, whose real name is Lawrence Tero, will no longer be wearing his enormous gold chains, which he has been known for since his years on television. The Rocky III star is changing his appearance in light of the time that he has spent in the United States region that was devastated by the hurricane.
Mr. T said, "As a spiritual man, I felt it would be a sin against my God for me to wear all that gold again because I spent a lot of time with the less fortunate."
Mr. T will be starring in the television series I Pity the Fool this fall. The show will be broadcast on TV Land beginning in October.
