According to London’s The Sun, the hotel chain heiress hops from party to party because she is being paid to do so.
The 25 year-old celebrity said, "If you see pictures of me out, I’m being paid. When I turn up at an event it is work. People don’t think I am shy – but I am. When the cameras are on and they’re taking pictures it is work."
Hilton added that her show, Simple Life, does not really depict her personality. The star insists that she has developed a character, based loosely on characters from the films Legally Blonde and Clueless. Paris also insists that in reality she is quite shy.
Hilton added, "All reality shows are fake basically. When you have a camera on you, you are not going to act yourself."
Paris Hilton was recently in London to promote her music album.
