According to IOL, Shakira managed to give her fans in Spain a show, despite the fact that she had been sick all day before the concert.
The 29 year-old singer was battling a fever and throat infection, but she chose not to cancel her show. Following doctor’s orders, Shakira covered up on stage, wearing black trousers and a t-shirt, which may have let some of her male fans down.
A source said, "Shakira was feeling lousy and had a fever all day. It was touch and go if she was going to perform until half-an-hour before she was due on.”
