Glamour magazine is reporting that the star’s tension began from some of her difficult film roles. Last February, the 38 year-old entered a Texas treatment centre, where she spent 47 days. Judd revealed, "I needed help. I was in so much pain."
As a child, Judd was often adjusting to different towns and cultures, and was a student at 12 different schools by the age of 13. The actress was raised by her mother after her parents separated at the age of 4. Judd’s mother, Naomi, was a country music star along with her sister, Wynonna.
The treatment has helped Ashley Judd, and the star explains that her marriage to race-car driver Dario Franchitt, 33, is also much stronger. She added, "I was unhappy, and now I’m happy. Now, even when I’m having a rough day, it’s better than my best day before treatment."
