According to Newsweek, the 43 year-old star finds life less complicated in Europe. The Pirates of the Caribbean star said, “I’ve always loved it there. The phones don’t ring as much. Movies are never brought up in conversation. I’ll take the kids and we’ll go out to the trampoline and the swing set.”
Depp, who first found fame on the television series 21 Jump Street, is happy to live his life in a stealth style. “Suddenly, you go into restaurants and people are pointing at you and whispering,” he said. “You feel spooked by it because that freedom of anonymity is gone.”
Depp and French singer Vaness Paradis have homes in France in Los Angeles. They are the parents of a daughter, Lily-Rose, and a son, Jack.
