People magazine is reporting that Lachey, 32, has been dating stylist Kim Kardashian since last month. The relationship had been kept quiet until after the final divorce documents from Simpson became official.
On May 15, witnesses saw the new lovers enjoying an evening at a Hollywood nightclub after seeing the film The Da Vinci Code at a local theatre. The two were spotted in the cinema holding hands. A source told the magazine, "They’re sweet on each other. It’s the beginning stages of a relationship."
Lachey and Kardashian, who is the daughter of the late Robert Kardashian who was an attorney in the famous O.J. Simpson trial, have at least one thing in common: failed marriages. Kardashian was divorced in 2004.
The source added, "Part of the attraction is they have both gone through similar life situations. They developed a bond."
