According to MTV, her second disc, entitled B’Day, will be released on September 5, just one day after the star’s 25th birthday. Sean Garrett, one of the CD’s producers, said that Beyonce worked very hard on the upcoming album. She spent nearly 12 hours each day writing songs and perfecting arrangements during the production of the disc. Garrett said, "She’s in a place I’ve never seen her in before. She’s very vibrant, very happy and her mindset is incredible. She’s in a zone."
Knowles’ next film, Dreamgirls, will be released in theatres on December 22. Though she normally works on several projects at once, she did clear her schedule for the film. She said, "And for the first time, I’ve committed six whole months [to do nothing but the movie]. I’ve put mostly everything aside."
A new clothing line, called House of Dereon, which includes a children’s line, will also be released soon. The star’s mother and business partner said, "It’s been in our business plan all along. But I am often approached by Beyoncé’s young fans asking when a junior line would be launched, so I felt now was the time."
