According to America Newsweek magazine, the young woman wants to return to her place of birth now that her work on the television series O.C. has come to an end, as her character was killed off.
The 20 year-old star revealed, "I am thinking of spending a month in London, living there and taking a course in acting. Sometimes it’s nice to go back to your roots."
Barton moved to New York as a toddler, although her sister, Zoe, now lives and works in London. She was ready to leave the series, but she admits that it was the show’s producers who made the final decision. She said, "I was really excited that I get to die, to be honest. I’ve done pretty much everything else with the character."
During her two years on the show, her character had a lesbian fling, shot someone and battled depression, drug and alcohol abuse.
