Dan Brown Accused of Plagiarism Again

The author of the best-selling book Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown, is again being accused of plagiarism, this time by a Russian historian.

Brown, who was cleared of similar accusations just days ago, is now being sued by Mikhail Anikin for plagiarism.  The arti historian from St. Petersburg hopes to be compensated for his original ideas.

According to the historian, the author stole his idea that Leonardo Da Vinci’s famed Mona Lisa painting was in fact an allegory for the Christian church.  Anikin published his theory in a book in 2000.

Released in 2003, Da Vinci Code has sold more than 40 million copies world wide.
