The film, directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, also stars Toni Collette, Greg Kinnear, Alan Arkin, Alissa Anderegg and Abigail Breslin.
In the movie, the six members of the Hoover family travel the United States so that their seven year-old daughter can compete in the Little Miss Sunshine beauty pageant.
