Chris Penn’s Autopsy Revealed

Valium, morphine, marijuana and a pain killer with codeine were all found during an autopsy that was performed on actor Chris Penn following his sudden death in January.

Chris, the younger brother of actor Sean Penn, was found dead in his Santa Monica, California home on January 24.  The body of the 40 year-old man was discovered by his maid.

The official cause of death is heart disease, but the coroner did confirm that several other drugs were in the actor’s body at the time of death.

Chris Penn is best known for his role in the film Footloose, with Kevin Bacon.  Later, he was seen in the films Starsky & Hutch, Mulholland Falls, Rumble Fish, All the Right Moves and Rush Hour.  He also played Eddie Cabot in the Quentin Tarantino film, Resevoir Dogs.
