Eva Green will play the part of Vesper Lynd, with Agent 007 played by Daniel Craig. The producers have also confirmed that Jeffrey Right will be part of the cast, playing the part of Felix Leiter. The part of the villain, Le Chiffre, will be played by Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen.
Casino Royale is being produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, and directed by Martin Campbell, who was the director for GoldenEye in 1995. Production began in January, and the movie will be in theatres on November 17.
The script for this movie was written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. It is an adaptation of author Ian Fleming’s first novel. Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby) was involved in the script.
The actors and production crew will be headed to the Bahamas in the near future for filming, followed by Europe to continue filming for this movie.
