Close, who recently starred in the television series "The Shield", and Shaw were married in an intimate ceremony in Maine. Her spokesperson, Catherine Olim, confirmed that the marriage took place last Friday.
The 58 year-old actress was nominated five times for an Oscar, most recently for her performance in 1989’s Dangerous Liaisons.
Close has a 17 year-old daughter, Annie, from a previous relationship. This is the third trip down the aisle for Close.
