Minogue’s sister, Danni, revealed the good news on her official website. She writes, "My best news to start the new year is that my sister has had her ‘full remission’."
She added, "Last year was a difficult year for many people – I’m just happy we have a close family and could all support each other."
In May, 2005, Kylie Minogue, 37, was forced to cancel her concert tour when she was diagnosed with cancer. She then underwent chemotherapy and surgery. She is now in remission, but will continue with some treatments to prevent the return of the disease. Minogue hopes to return to her music by the end of the year.
