According to People magazine, the star of Groundhog Day, Short Cuts and Sex, Lies, and Videotape among others, has announced that she is engaged to businessman Kevin Geagan.
MacDowell, 47, and Geagan, 40, are very happy. "They’re fabulous together,” says MacDowell’s older sister Julia. "They are both very family-oriented. They both like the outdoors, and they’re both into community work."
Another thing the two have in common is that they are both involved with their children. Geagan is the father of three girls, and MacDowell also has three children, Justin, 19, Rainey, 16, and Sarah Margaret, 11.
The actress was previously married to Paul Qualley for 13 years, divorcing in 1999. In October, 2004, MacDowell divorced husband number two, Rhett Hartzog.
The date for her third wedding has not been revealed.
