Celine Dion Donates 1 Million Dollars

Dion is not the only artist who has reached out to others after the catastrophe.  Television hostess Ellen DeGeneres, a New Orleans native, has started a foundation for aid on her television show.

The NBC and MTV television networks are also holding benefit concerts that will feature numerous stars to raise money for the devastated areas.
