A Good Year for Marion Cotillard

The cinematic adaptation of Peter Mayle’s novel will be directed by Ridley Scott (Gladiator).

The movie follows the story of a failed London banker who moves to Provence to tend to a vineyard that he has inherited from his uncle, played by Albert Finney.  Cotillard plays a woman claiming to be a long-lost cousin who challenges the inheritance.

Cotillard is best known for her role in Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s film A Very Long Engagement.
