According to Damon, Affleck should be back on his feet with the release of the movie Truth, Justice and the American Way.
Damon and Affleck have been friends for a long time, and Damon asserted that things will pick up for his friend with the film being released in 2006.
He says, "He just did Truth, Justice and The American Way. He’s going to be great. People forget that he’s a terrific actor, and maybe through some fault of his own, he hasn’t made the best choices in the last couple of years. When this movie comes out and it’s great, everyone will be like, ‘It’s a comeback.’"
The two friends grew up in Massachusetts. They had their debut in the movie Good Will Hunting, which they also co-wrote.
