Filming is set to begin in October, and a release date is planned for June, 2006. The new version will have the title The Omen 666.
Richard Donner directed the original film. John Moore (Flight of the Phoenix) will direct the remake, which was written by Dan McDermott (Selling Time).
Schreiber recently wrote and directed Everything is Illuminated, starring Elijah Wood, which opens on September 16.
