Directed by Geoffrey Sax, the film was based on the first book by Anthony Horowitz about a teenage spy. The film also stars Sarah Bolger, Damian Lewis, Ewan McGregor, Bill Nighy, Sophie Okonedo, Missi Pyle, Alicia Silverstone and Ashley Walters.
Serkis will play Mr. Grin, the disfigured henchman of villain Darrius Sayle, played by Mickey Rourke.
Stephen Fry will play Smithers, a gadget creator for the spies.
