The actress is accusing the tabloid of libel defamation. The paper printed a story that she kissed a man other than her boyfriend, singer Justin Timberlake.
The suit was filed Wednesday in Superior Court regarding the story which was printed last May 23.
According to representatives of the star, Diaz was accused of kissing Shane Nickerson, a producer working on her MTV series. "she and Nickerson did not engage in any kissing or making out," said the rep.
