The boyfriend of the singer, French actor Olivier Martinez revealed this information to friends, according to The Mirror.
The couple will now put those plans on hold, since Minogue was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
According to the Mirror Olivier told friends: "We were going to start working on it after the tour was over. Now it will be put off. Not for ever, we pray and hope, but for the time being."
"I love Kylie. With all my heart I love her. And we would both love a child."
The singer underwent surgery last week. She is now awaiting the results, and also undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
