The star of Meet the Fockers has worked on many films during the past year. Stiller wants to spend more time at home with his wife, actress Christine Taylor, his daughter Ella, 2, and the new baby, who will be born this summer.
A friend of the actor stated, "Ben loves being a father and he feels he’s missing out on a lot by working so much. He’s saying that he’s going to take at least a year off to be with his daughter and baby once it arrives. Besides, Christine needs his help as chief diaper changer!"
Stiller will be providing the voice for the main character in the animated comedy Madagascar, which will be released in theatres on May 27.
