According to the magazine Variety, Love will play Linda Boreman, alias Linda Lovelace, who became a legend after starring in the porn movie Deep Throat in 1972.
Even though the film was banned in 23 American states, it generated more than $600 million in revenues.
Linda Lovelace, a married woman from New York, has always claimed that she was never paid for her part in the film. She also became an important figure in the American feminist movement. In April, 2002, at the age of 53, Lovelace died in an automobile accident.
Love, 40, already played a similar role in the story of the American porn giant Larry Flynt, in the film The People vs. Larry Flynt.
