A representative for Perry has confirmed that the star was hospitalized in Los Angeles earlier this week.
It would have been his doctor who asked for Perry to be hospitalized for observation after a bad reaction to a prescribed medicine. Happily, his health has already been regained, and he was released from the hospital 24 hours after admission.
