Wes Craven’s The Hills Have Eyes to be Remade

The debut of the remake of the cult horror film by Wes Craven, The Hills Have Eyes, is schedule for April.

Wes Craven, who wrote and directed the first film, produced on behalf of Dimension Films.  Alexandre Aja and Gregory Levasseur, the team behind High Tension, wrote the screenplay, Aja directing.

The new version follows the story of a suburban American family who take a cross-country trip.  When their car breaks down in a New Mexico desert, the family is confronted by strange creatures.
