Mega Concert for Victims of Tsunami

Several stars will be joining together to do a concert to raise money for victims of the Tsunami in Southeast Asia.

Artists Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, No Doubt, Linkin Park, Blink-182, Black Eyed Peas, Ozzy Osbourne and Jurassic 5 have all agreed to participate.

These artists will give their contribution for the show Music for Relief’s Concert for South Asia.  It will be held February 28 in Anaheim, California.  Organizers estimate raising one million dollars.

Music for Relief is an organization that was partly founded by Linkin Park.  It aims to raise money for the Tsunami disaster victims.  They have raised 1.5 million to date.

"When we started Music for Relief, we hoped to mobilize artists and fans to contribute to the massive relief effort in South Asia," Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson said in a statement. "Due to the incredible support and generosity of so many of our peers and supporters within the music community, Music for Relief has played a vital role in helping get aid to people who most need it."

Between government and international aid, there has been over 4 billion dollars raised for the victims of this natural disaster.
