Gold medallist filmed taking a nap in a park

Everyone has heard the story of the cardboard beds used to house Olympic athletes. It’s a common practice to be able to house many people properly.

In any case, these beds have been tested by athletes and are very sturdy. Some even tried to jump on them, but the bed didn’t budge.

This time, it’s not the beds that interest us, but rather the quality of life for athletes in accommodation. A few days ago, Italian swimmer Thomas Ceccon complained about the accommodation provided for athletes in Paris.

He found it too hot due to the lack of air conditioning, too noisy and the food simply not good.

Then, a few days later, the same Ceccon was caught sleeping on the ground in a public park! Here’s what we found.

The video was captured in the middle of the day, and Ceccon had actually explained that he liked to take afternoon naps. So he probably didn’t decide to live completely in a park.

The craziest thing is that Ceccon had confirmed that his complaints were not excuses for his performance, and he proved it to everyone.

The Italian swimmer won gold in the 100-meter backstroke and bronze in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay. An excellent record for someone who takes naps on the ground in a park!

In any case, the Italian Swimming Federation confirmed to the media outlet Le Parisien that Ceccon was only taking a little nap and that this had nothing to do with his complaints of a few days ago.

Ceccon is not the only athlete to have complained about the quality of life in the athletes’ accommodation. Also according to Le Parisien, the Brits brought in their own chef because the food wasn’t good enough for them.
