Chris Rock has yet to reflect on what just happened at the Oscars.
Chris Rock broke his silence, and he had no choice, because he had to return to the stage only a few days after the savage attack he suffered at the hands of Will Smith on the night of the Oscars.
Rock was indeed performing in Boston, and the fans present gave him quite a warm welcome.
The comedian, however, warned the crowd that he was not yet ready to address the issue head on, and asked to be patient with him, reports Variety.
“How was your weekend? I don’t have a whole bunch of stuff to say about what happened, so if you came to hear that, I have a whole show I wrote before (…) I’m still kind of processing everything that happened. At some point, I’m going to talk about it, and it’s going to be serious and funny”, a solid but still visibly shaken Chris Rock told the Boston audience.
Actor Will Smith got up from his chair to punch Chris Rock in the face at the recent Oscars after the latter made a joke at the expense of his wife, Jada Pinkett, causing consternation and generating a wave of disapproval in Hollywood and around the world.
