The Los Angeles police did not notify Rihanna‘s team before the arrest of A$AP Rocky, nor the rapper’s one.
A$AP Rocky’s arrest at LAX when he returned from Barbados while in the company of his pregnant lover, Rihanna, took both stars and their entourage by surprise and left them ”blindsided”, reports TMZ.
Arrested in connection with a reported 2021 shooting case, A$AP Rocky was not given a courtesy call beforehand, and police reportedly said it was to minimize the risk of the suspect fleeing, and also to maximize the chances of finding a gun they were looking for in connection with the case.
Rihanna reportedly attempted to retrieve items from the rapper’s home, a request denied by the LAPD, who instead decided to search the residence.
A$AP Rocky was released on a $150,000 bond.
