Kevin Spacey must pay $31 million to Netflix and MRC

The request for an appeal by Kevin Spacey has been rejected. The actor must pay a huge compensation toNetflix and MRC.

The actor saw his appeal rejected yesterday (August 4), which will make him have to pay a sum of 31 million dollars to the production company MRC of the series House of Cards which airs on Netflix.

Kevin Spacey who played Frank Underwood in the popular Netflix series violated the company’s sexual harassment policy.

Kevin Spacey ‘s setbacks began on the sidelines of the #MeToo movement. Actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of making sexual advances toward him in 1986, when Rapp was only 14 years old.

Recall also that the 63-year-old actor is being sued on the UK side for a total of four sexual assaults that were allegedly committed on three men.

In any case, due to Spacey’s dismissal, the production company is seeking damages since it has lost substantial revenue.

House of Cards aired for six seasons from 2013 to 2018. The final year of the series was cut short and ended sooner than originally planned due to the accusations against Spacey at the time.

Despite the fact that he now owes a fortune to Netflix and MRC, Kevin Spacey still maintains his innocence.
