Jonathan Drouin is excited about finally playing under Martin St-Louis

Jonathan Drouin showed up at the National Bank Open last Saturday in great shape to participate in a friendly ball field hockey game.

Of course, he took the opportunity to give the media an update on his wrist injury, as he has finally completed his rehab. The number 92 also underlined his deep desire to play under Martin St-Louis.

Regarding his wrist, Drouin did not hide that it does not have the flexibility it used to have, but it is fully recovered, which will allow him to start training camp to test it further.

During his dialogue with the media, Jo Drou was very emotional about the Montreal Canadiens’ head coach, Martin St-Louis.

“I’m most excited about playing with Martin between now and the start of the season. Everyone talks about the big change we had with the coach, but I think I played a game and a half under Martin St-Louis! I can’t wait for practices and games to start again to get into it,” he told the media on site, TVA Sports reports.

Drouin is very excited about the upcoming season for the Sainte-Flanelle, as he will be playing a mentoring role for the club’s young players.
