L’actrice française Marion Cotillard rejoindra Johnny Depp sur le plateau de The Libertine, selon The Hollywood Reporter.
Le film réalisé par Brett Ratner s’attarde au scandale entourant Dominique Strauss-Kahn.
Il s’agit d’un second projet concernant cette affaire, après Welcome To New York qui mettait en vedette Gérard Depardieu.
The Libertine s’annonce cependant comme un film encore plus imposant, notamment avec la présence de Depp, Ratner et Cotillard.
Johnny Depp pourrait incarner DSK, ce qui impliquerait donc encore une fois une métamorphose physique qui pourrait s’avérer spectaculaire.
Petite note, le titre pourrait être appelé à changer, puisqu’un projet s’intitulant The Libertine a déjà été lancé en 2004. Le film mettait d’ailleurs en vedette… Johnny Depp.
Marion Cotillard sera également d’Allied, From the Land of the Moon, It’s Only the End of the World et Assassin’s Creed, en 2016.
