This is the oldest cat in the world

The Guinness World Records presented Flossie, the oldest cat in the world, who is 27 years old, which gives about 120 years in human age.

The cat in question is a female of British origin, she is brown and black in color, and despite being visually impaired and practically deaf, her health is very good.

The cat’s new owner, Vicki Green, spoke fondly of Flossie:

“I knew from the start that Flossie was a special cat, but I never imagined that I would be sharing my home with a world record holder! She is so affectionate and playful, which is especially sweet when you remember her age. I am immensely proud that Cats Protection found me such an amazing cat!”

Mrs. Green is not the first owner as Flossie has been in several homes since she was born in 1995, including a stray kitten. After that, she spent 10 years with another person, and when that person passed away four years later, she spent three years with the son of the second owner… ending up with Cats Protection and Vicki Green.

From here, will Flossie be able to break the all-time longevity record of a 38 year and three day old cat named Crème Puff who passed away on August 6, 2005?
