A Man Arrested for Stealing Photos

David Hans Schmidt, 47, who frequently sells photos of Hollywood stars, contacted Tom Cruise’s rep in June to demand one million dollars, in exchange for pictures taken at the couple’s wedding  in Italy, in 2006.

Cruise’s representatives contacted the FBI, who arrested the man last Tuesday.  He has been in custody in Los Angeles since that time.  This man was also known for attempting to sell Paris Hilton’s personal diary.
