Amber Heard will comment her trial for NBC

Amber Heard will soon present her own version of the facts in the saga that is opposing her to her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.

Actress Amber Heard will be a guest onNBC’s Dateline NBC on June 17. In the interview, the 36-year-old star will speak with host Savannah Guthrie and revisit the high-profile defamation lawsuit in which she was defeated.

The interview was previously taped on June 9 in New York.

According to Deadline, the interview will address what Amber Heard thinks of the jury’s decision and what impact it could have on free speech in America as well as on other women who come out publicly to speak out about domestic violence.

In the first promotional images of the interview released by NBC, the star of the film Aquaman explains that she believes social media had a hand in the jury’s decision to award her $10.4 million to her ex-husband, a decision that could ruin her.

The entire interview will air Friday on Dateline, NBC, 8 p.m.
